At FaGalde Interior Design, we match people to interiors, one individual, at a time. To us, it is impossible to design a residential interior without knowing the people that will spend time in the space. The whole process is built around the client. We will never try to convince a client to buy something for their home simply because it’s popular at the time. We design with the intent to create a space that will not just satisfy our client but create long term happiness.
In our initial consultation, we find out about our clients’ likes and dislikes. We have created a unique questionnaire that helps us learn about our clients. Many times, in this initial consultation, we discover things that homeowners did not realize were important to them. One of the most common phrases we get from our clients is that “you really know my taste.” We attribute this because we spend time getting to know our clients on that first consult.
Sometimes people have a special item they would like to include within the design of a space that has special meaning to them. It may be a piece of furniture handed down through generations, a picture that they love, a book collection, or anything else that is important in their life. After we discover what is important to them, only then can we begin to develop a design that will add richness to their current lifestyle. We begin to expose clients to a vision for their space and show them the world of design they would not have considered otherwise. As the saying goes, “You only know what you know.”
There is a lot of information available today throughout the internet on design and the products that are available. In fact, there is so much information that it is nearly impossible to digest it in a manner that could apply to your needs in a reasonable amount of time. As professionals in the industry, we spend all of our working days taking in the latest design trends in all areas that influence design so that you don’t have to go through the hundreds of hours that it would take to develop a working knowledge of interior design. We attend shows and seminars that cover every topic in the design industry on a regular basis so that we can make clients excited about their living space.
No project is too big or too small. We can help create a space from the ground up, such as in custom homes or even just one bathroom. We can select all tiles, finishes, plumbing, flooring, etc. Or we can simply help someone with selecting paint colors or accessories for a room.
